Loading...

A Physical Map Revision (PMR) is being completed to update the Jefferson County Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS). This update is being conducted to replace flood risk information on the following streams:
  • Coal Creek from county boundary to county boundary (10.2 miles).
  • Beaver Creek from its confluence with Coal Creek to 0.7 mile upstream.
  • Rock Creek from the Jefferson-Boulder County to 2.8 miles upstream of SH128.
This update will affect 5 panels covering part of the County and City of Arvada. The streams were restudied to reflect changes after flooding in 2013. For more information on the analysis, refer to the Colorado Hazard Mapping Program (CHAMP) Floodplain Mapping.
